Product features
Ergonomic design of the hub to ensure easy handling and insertion. The hub of the stylet is fitted with a lug to indicate the bevel orientation and to easily reposition the stylet within the needle in case of necessity. The hub of the stylet is also colour coded according to the diameter of the needle. Some needles are supplied without introducer; other needles are supplied with a metallic introducer needle to limit the risk of bending / kinking of the Quincke needle and the risk of deviation of the needle tip.
Intended Use
Spinal needles are applied to puncture, drug injection, and cerebrospinal fluid collection through lumbar vertebra.
Epidural needles are applied to puncture the human body epidural, anaesthesia catheter insertion, injection of drugs.
Combined anaesthesia needles are used in CSEA. Integrating the benefits of both Spinal anaesthesia and epidural anaesthesia, CSEA gives a rapid onset of action and produces definite effect. In addition, it is not restricted by surgery time and the dosage of local anaesthetic is low, thus reducing the risk of toxic reaction of anaesthesia. It can also be used for post-operative analgesia, and this method has been widely applied in domestic and oversea clinical practice.
